Back from the ER, and small owwie is gone, it /was/ an abcess. Now I have a much larger, here-have-a-script-for-vicodin type owwie. :C It's not helping much and I think I'mmma go hide in a corner and cry.

I has pain helps.. (well, in 5 hours, we did administer morphine and Fentanyl (fentanyl can knock a moose on it's ass)

Nope, just a random skin abscess on the back of my head. Trust me, it still really sucked.

How the hell did you manage to get that?

My parents have both gotten abcessed teeth before -- those were pretty nasty.

I honestly have no idea. I was just brushing my hair and found it...in the most gawdawful painful way, of course. XP

The E-Doctors all seem to think it's a pretty common kinda thing, though.

Haven't a clue. The doctor did say they were doing a culture, but they wouldn't be calling me unless I needed to change my antibiotic script.
